Pretty little primrose,
with a fresh lemon Skirt
A fairy dressed in yellow,
to match the colour of spring.
Dancing wild on the wayside,
in the soft warm spring air.
A dainty little damsel,
who is sometimes in despair.
Don't pick the little fairy,
because you'll put her under strain,
and the dainty little damsel,
will never dance again.
There are many dainty damsel's,
that live in the countryside
All taking their turn, from springtime,
right up until the fall.
God gave them their security
and the rain to keep them alive.
Every year we see them,
becoming, less and less,
but it's only you can help.
The damsels in distress.
