I'm 59 and self-employed. Most of my investments had been in the stock market. I've lived through 2 market crashes and I don't want to do that during retirement or nearing retirement. They showed me how to find a number of investments that aren't in the stock market The process was easy, they helped me fill out the forms and I just signed. I have invested in rental properties and mortgage notes. I just sit there and watch my investments growing as deposits happen in my account. It's a real joy. I am looking forward to a worry-free retirement.
