and it cries out for help
if no one tries to save you
do they still care

and if you cry a thousand tears
and are drowning in your sorrow
and no one notices
are you still there

and if i decided not to stay
but to leave this place
if i tried to run
would you stop me

would you let me go
would you chase me
to the ends of the earth
would you find me

and if at your last touch i
shattered like glass
would you stay
to pick up the pieces

and if i was gone would
would you forget me
and would you try to
iron me awat with the creases
