I was photographed once
at a coffee shop—
completely unaware;
My head cast down
absorbed in the French latté
and unflinching conversation
of my biology text.
raveled in a multi-colored
woolen scarf and
newsboy hat
a visage barely recognizable, I,
aporetic that a photographer
would find my presence
so unobtrusively
worth capturing,
yawned and he flashed.
