I watch the birds over head as they cut through the sky
Envious of their freedom as they elegantly fly
Wishing that it were I that was leaving this place
To search of love and passion for my soul to grace
I watch the ripples of tears that flow into the see
The rush of emotions I feel, that seem to be escaping me
My heart choked by pain of a love that I seem to yearn
Across the bridge he waits for me, the bridge that will forever burn
His body I can almost touch, my fingertips miles away
So many words of love to him that I long to say
Can he even see me does he know that I exist
My attraction towards the man that I can not resist
