You see a smile on her face
and she doesnt seem out of place
She appears happy for her years
Yet she's drowing in her tears
She sees life in such a deeper way
and wonders why she lives each day
She ruined her life a little at a time
Only releasing pain through rhyme
You see her as sweet and kind
Her true self, you'll never find
You see what she wants you to
Knowing she'll never be true
This girl of course is me
I write this now hoping you'll see.
