She is too strong
it's unbecoming, wrong!

she is too bright
cover that light!

Why, she laughs! She dances! She holds flings; light romances!
A girl, a woman, hasn't she shame? She is shackled to a frame,
bent, lame. Her life should be pain, hasn't she been told? It
is not for her to be so bold.
