this poem is for a dear friend of mine who friend was tragically killed and she never got to say goodbye


i wish i could take away the hurt inside
i wish you wouldnt cry
i wish i could take away the pain you hide
i wish you wouldnt cry

you heart is bleeding
from the hurt your feeling
you lost a good friend
but know this isnt the end

memories will last
of you and he
just let it stay in your mind that
at least his soul is free

free to fly and free to roam
free to feel no pain

free to fly away
fly away to a better place
