He gets to the end
Of all roads
Of all paths
They see nothing
They turn to leave
He faces the sky
And whispers
“I’m Sorry I failed you”
And starts to walk away

She moans
But it’s not loud
Then the beast of hell
Is in front of her
Then the scream comes out
Then silence
