Today I heard a song
that whispered through the trees
and was shouted by the breeze.
It was an enchanting song
of which no words
would ever fit.
If they did,
they would only spoil it.
The song had a title
and the title was simply silence.
So in the morning hours
I sat and listened for a while
refreshing my senses
with its rhapsody
in the morning
not far from me.
