An apricot colored sky with hues of orange and red
Slightly cast against a baby blue evening
Milky white clouds forming over head
A February sundown slowly lingering

Sassafras and hickory wood being consumed by dancing fire
Crackle and pop as shades of yellow meet with scarlet heat
Streaks of blue forming as the flames grow higher
Complete peace found in my back yard retreat

Midnight blue consumes the February eve
Bringing diamond sparkles so high above
My soul calm and the mind takes leave
As I hear the cooing from a dove

Rising above the troubles and woes
Listening to the sounds of the season
I find myself gliding into a peaceful repose
One with a greater reason
