the sunlight in my eyes
till the stars shine bright
and in dim moonlight
i can feel the quiet sounds

and you can feel
my heartbeat in your soul
till my shadows recede
into the light i need
to see you through the fog

will you wait for me
till time stands still
if you only will
i'll be there for you then
when this cycle ends
and a new begins
then everything can change

till i can know
you'll no longer show
the pain that i have caused
