Can I tell you a story,
About a little girl?
She goes up to her room everynight,
And on her bed in a ball she curls.
Her father he is gone,
And of her mother she's afraid.
Her brother doesn't like her,
Her friends think she has it made.
Please will you listen,
Whilst I tell you this rhyme?
Will you even give a care,
When she's gone before her time?
She doesn't have the greatest life,
She's sick inside her head.
All the things she has around her,
Make her wish she was dead.
There are things in her life she loves,
Like her family and her friends.
But if only that love was returned,
She wouldn't seek her end.
Please will you listen,
Whilst I tell you this story?
I'm telling you about the people,
Who are taking all her glory.
But there are two who know her,
And her secrets they won't tell.
If it wasn't for those wonderful people,
She'd be in a morgue somewhere swelled.
She gives her thanks to them,
Whenever she gets a chance.
She thanks them for for always listening,
While she tells them her life's dance.
Please will you listen,
Whilst I tell you this tragedy?
It's of this young girl,
Who isn't always happy.
All she wants is for someone to find,
The key that unlocks her mind.
All she wishes is that they would love her,
Even with the secrets she hides.
She thinks she has but they'll never know,
How special they are to her.
It's one of the people who gets her most,
And listens to the things she blabbers.
Please will you listen,
Whilst I tell you this rhyme?
Would you even give a care,
If she was gone before her time?
