As through the mist the sun shines
And I see the sight of spring,
The flowers are now blooming
And such colour they do bring,
Within the barren garden
That's been sleeping for so long,
Awoken by the morning now
The birds are all in song.
The mist is slowly clearing
And the frost begins to thaw,
The ice melts into water
And the winter is no more,
Kaleidoscopes and rainbows
And the changing April days,
The meadow now does glisten bright
Within the golden rays.
Bluebells in the woodland now
Beneath the budding bower,
Like a sapphire carpet there
The beauty of each flower,
They line the muddy pathway
That is winding through the trees,
And waving in the motion of
The cool caressing breeze.
