SHE SANG TO THE SEA


In olden times, long before,
A girl ran along the shore,
And sang to the sea a song…

But no one could see
How wondrous were
The songs of the sea.

It made the little girl
Laugh heartily,
She burst into laughter
At that shore…

And the boundless,
The deep blue sea
With laughter
Started to roar…
