By your promise undeterred.

Exactly as I meant you to.
I knew precisely what you’d do,
The latest gossips meat and drink.
You always speak before you think

of the damage you might do.
I knew I could rely on you.
To spread the scandal readily
and add your own embroidery.

Your loose tongue harms my enemy
whilst I appear to be blame free
Although you promised not to say
I knew you would anyway.

You have become my willing tool.
You are an empty headed fool
and even now you cannot see
That I have used you shamelessly

To do my dirty work for me
a task you tackled happily.
What you are told you must pass on
to anyone and everyone.

You never stop to verify
what you are told, you do not try.
You put your brain in neutral gear
and pass on anything you hear.
