Viola Grey - Take a bite

Ah...come closer...hear my tale...

'Twas last night
as I took a bite
I became witness
to this bleak delight...

As I was drinking
he lay thinking,
mind, heart racing
in his dark fright...

Wriggled, squirmed,
hooked little worm,
he revealed to me
his soul...

Black, so black,
shamelessly he lacks
gentle human love,
born so cold...

Took from life
his lovely wife
set her soul alight...
oh, and her body...

So, in delight
I took his life,
which burns his soul
inside of me.

Thank you for listening...sure you won't come closer?
