At twilight
in the infinite parameters of horizon,
snoring sun sleeps
under the blanket of dusk
covered with evening’s elegant foil.
Pock-marked moon peers
from the star-lit parasol
and descends on earth
walking down the silver steps
to glance at my beloved,
my sleeping beauty!
Eclipsed by my
beloved’s breath-taking beauty,
embarrassed moon soon vanished
behind a shroud of dark cloud
like vapour
from the burnt camphor!
Amid morning hues,
before melting down
in the sapphire skies
vanilla moon,
swearing by the moonlight
whispers a silvery secret, that -
my beloved is,
every poet’s dream!
