Ride royally the waters
Oh! boat of my soul.
Let there be gentle wind with me
a star or two for company.
For, I know now my spirit is whole,
My highwayman has come to boat my soul.
You see the calm of my ocean's deep
on my face, my body his love that seeps.
He who closes my eyes with a liquid kiss
and warms my breath with his balmy lips;
he who has laid his heart out
to warm my feet
In HIS boat- my soul I keep!
Oh! my last love put me to sleep!
