Memories of you are precious to me
Because memories are all that I have
The loss of you leaves a hole in my heart
And leaves me feeling alone and sad

God chose to take you suddenly
And we're still dealing with the pain
So tears gently roll down my cheeks
And thoughts of you run through my brain

We weren't ready to let you go just yet
But we accept what we cannot change
And draw strength from the faith you taught us so well
And find hope in each new day
