The man
looked odd

without his hat
or head

(glass in his hair)

the terrible noise of blood

his last thoughts

nowhere now
& everywhere.

Helicopters don't
fall out of the sky

but today
was one of those days

your life
screamed into newsprint

you an innocent
bystander

to the fact of your
death.
