I let my heart n soul
ride in your hands,
You stole my every dream
and' crushed my plans,
I never even knew
I had a choice
An' that's wut happens
When the only voice I heard
Was tellin' me I can't,

What ever made you think
You could take my life
An' just push it
N' push it around,
Guess it got you a high,
You had to take me
And' brake me down,
It took awhile,
For me to figure out
I could run, but,
When I did....
I was already long,
Long, gone....
