As you choose to be blinded & you can not see,
Sit back & listen what happened to me.
I was carefree & happy enjoying my teens,
When all of a sudden i could not see.
The crowd that i hung with & thought were my friends,
Turned out to be evil & on 'crack' they depend.
Wanting to fit in & feeling quite weak,
One time wont hurt me as excitement i seek.
Well that one time sent me on a spiraling ride,
To the devils own playground with my 'friends' by my side.
Nothing mattered to me anymore
With the plummeting weight & face full of sores.
Unconsciously i stole from all that i loved,
To feed my addiction as i prayed to God above.
Help me to scramble back to this earth,
for this child cant be addicted the day i give birth.
Some how he listened & pulled me from hell,
The journey was hard but I'm starting to look well.
My baby is growing & now safe from all harm,
Tears of joy will flow as i hold this gift in my arms.
I can only explain what happened to me,
And hope you will wake up & finally see.
That this evil drug is not all it seems,
It can destroy all you are & your total being.
If you open your eyes before its too late,
You will not spiral at a devastating rate.
Life is too short with so much to learn,
Please heed my warning before you get burnt.
I give you my prayers & all the support that you need,
And hope that you listen so you can be freed.
Your journey wont be easy
But I, ll be here every step of the way,
As you regain your strength & smile again
A little every day....
