I have known thy greatest love
And I have tasted the sweetest fruit
I have had the dream of dreams
And a sorrowed heart know it well too

I have had my share of fear
And I too I cast a tear
And even now upon my brow
Sewn are the wrinkles of all my years

What is a man if in life he can
What it is he is meant to be
Or is it not what he is not
If in life he never seeks

What is life and why is why
Why must we live and why must we die
As I take my brothers hand
As I ponder to understand

I have known thy greatest love
And thy fragrance I so breathe in
For is it not the dream of dreams
That each day we so walk in.
