My secret is out
Why should I hide from anyone?
Snapshots of my life

Do you pity me?
Is that what you think I want?
Quite the contrary…

Born as an Aries
I had it rough from the start
Newborn with seizures

My parents divorced
No memories of them married
I was only four

Not seeking pity
Life’s not meant to be easy
Don’t pity yourself

Despite all the odds
I took Frost’s Path Less Traveled
His poem’s on my fridge

My first thirty years
Troubled spirit seeking Truth
Now sharing that truth

Now what do you think-
Of people from the projects?
Am I black or white?
