My little child, my little child
You know it hurts me deep inside
To see you dying in a bed
Deteriorating, as good as dead
I see you twitch, i see you groan
And yet you don't know what's going on
I gave you life to make you smile
Yet since you're birth, you only cry
You're disease has no cure
The pain you feel you will endure
Oh my child, You're in so much pain
Only in death, the pain will wane
But no my child, you won't die
I gave birth to you.. want to know why?
Here, i'll hug you- feel its warmth
That's love my child, keep that in heart
Only God can take away our life
I, on my part, will continue to strive
To let you know the real meaning of love-
God's gift to us from high above
I'll sing you lullabyes every night
And when you shiver, i'll hold you tight
I'll run to the doctor when you get hurt again
I'll be your mother, protector, and friend
If there is pain unknown to you
Offer it to God, believe He's true
Offer your prayers to others, the weak and the sick
Come my child, let's pray for the Heaven we seek
You'll feel the pain that you fear
But i promise i'll be near
And when you feel you're close to death
Don't worry. I'll hold your hand...
Until the end.
