I thought I managed to shoot the demon down in flames
When a thunder-boomer broke the still of the night
I heard, ''It's a creature of chaos, and has a skillion names
Before it reaches his nest, we have to take a flight, ''
It was the angel, my guardian and faithful ally
While we flew, I showed him the code that I failed to decipher
He looked through it and said that one digit didn't apply
7 stood for 7 heads, and 10 for 10 horns,9 was an extra cipher
The dual pentagram mirrored the location of the underworld
I had to catch the beast off his guard before it struck back
As soon as we landed, we were confronted with a demonic horde
''Avoid looking into a demon's eyes, otherwise you'll have a shock, ''
The angel warned me, spreading his wings that emitted a dazzling light
The demons yelped at us, yet didn't make an assault, and froze
''Don't fear, in no time we're gonna put up a last-ditch fight, ''
The angel cheered me up, and was I ready to sacrifice myself for a just cause
