The past haunts me
but I will grow stronger you will see,
and eventually the scars I inflicted on my life will fade.
I will heal.
The past disturbs me
but I've thought a lot about this lately.
And eventually I can't ignore the wounds I’ve made.
I make mistakes
The past reminds me
But those thoughts will not break me,
And eventually the consequences will be paid.
I will change.
The past scares me
but I lost it for a while,
And eventually I want the memories to end their raid.
I will persist.
The past blames me
But I don’t know the reason, anymore,
And eventually I need the answer to be bade,
I will question.
The past carries me
But I already know the way,
And eventually I will find them laid,
I will rest.
The past haunts me
But I can see it buried beneath the layers of pain,
and eventually the scars I inflicted on my life will fade,
I will remember.
