Was it fear that took your life
that night?
Ignorance?
Both?
Were you too close to truth-
to change?
Did you know fear?
Did he whisper his lethal
barbs-did he drip his
poison into your heart?
Your heart was too good,
Noble,
Innocent.
How else could you expect-
any different?
Even today-
Not much has changed.
We still swim in shark
infested waters.
Rather than healing the
sore-we have bandaged it.
To cover its oozing, infection.
But, the smell! !
