From the very first time
We wrapped ourselves
In a chrysalis
Of love and silk sheets,
And now we have emerged
A butterfly, you and I.
Blemish matching blemish,
Down to the(beauty) spot.
Looking at you soul-deep is
Too much like mirror watching.
Alone I may fascinate the eye,
But without you, how would
I ever become air-borne?
Together coordinating each move
We flutter skyward.
