To be in love is a self-treason
To lose self-control and your cherished Reason
To switch the commands from MIND to HEART
To fluctuate daily in the Love chart
To act foolishly and lose direction
To become deaf to any recommendation
Turn out to be blind of sight and foresight
To even kill or commit suicide
To commit blunders you’ve never predicted
To your ‘deified’ beloved, you become addicted
To connect frequently with illusions and confusion
Right and wrong in your eyes get into fusion
To lose your integrity, pride and self-respect
To even accept humiliation and disrespect
To be crazily jealous of each and everyone
To become obsessed by your loved one
To experience joy and ephemeral delight like peers
But also to taste grief insomnia and tears
Without your beloved you feel hopeless and insecure
But when they come you feel ecstasy and bliss pure
Is this mysterious feeling ever-lasting?
Does it worth tasting and life- risking?
Is there a love story that embraced eternity
once passion and desire consumed entirely?
Love lasts forever only when it is postponed and delayed
When passion is suspended and desire is denied
