Once in a while
An urge to merge
With the colors, vivid
And the lines and forms, abstract
In a painting, hanging,
Silently on the wall
Once in a while
An urge to leave
That straight, concrete
Well-formed path
And amble aimlessly
In the grassy meadows
Or the green vales
In the mid morning warm sun
Amidst the hum of the bees
And the chatter of the grasshoppers
With little surprises that the nature reveals
And mischievously smiles
And just once in a while
Amidst all this, to rest peacefully
Under the cool shade of creativity
Once in a while
An urge to turn the pages
Of the albums of memories
And get the aromas, primitive
And feel enveloped
In the petals of love, nostalgic
Once in a while,
Just once in a while!
