I guess I just really wish you knew what it was like
You say you really miss me but I have my doubts
How could you feel alone when everybody’s around
I’m afraid I keep seeing glimpses of the future in my dreams
Where you become so disinterested and turn the other way
I just wish you had some empathy girl even though you say you do
When winter quarter comes I can’t wait to hear you cry to me
Maybe when you don’t see me for weeks you might start to understand
The feeling I get when I come home all-alone to an empty black house
How can you say the love is so strong when all you do is tell of me your friends?
I know you care, but it would be nice to be remind more then once a day
So get ready for the chill of winter here it comes, for once you might be alone
For once you might know what I’ve known
