A WORLD BEYOND!
Between the confines of life and death,
There lies innumerable cycles of life itself!
That extols life with its infinite evolving
multiplicity,
Creating the illusion of immortality;
A grandeur of infinity - perhaps to ease the
sting of death!
And when we close our eyes, beyond our
leaden eyelids lie, -
The infinite and inexhaustible world of
dreams!
That dream world, a virtual parallel universe,
About which our scientists ceaselessly speculate!
A world of fantasy which is reached, -
Through the mysterious tunnels of our
subconscious mind!
That world beyond life and death which lies
immune,
To our mundane world of pain and suffering!
An immortal gift of the Gods to us mortal men!
For a man’s dreams should exceed his grasp,
Or what’s a Heaven for? !
