This pain runs deep in my veins
Its cutting me like a razor blade
It mangles and rips me apart from the inside out
To know that something that was once good
Has gone so wrong destroys my body
It destroys everything that I once knew
And it leaves me with nothing but a chance
A change to start over and again be new
So I am thankful for this pain
This pain that runs deep in my veins
