Click clock – click clock
Now the key is turning, slowly in the lock.
As my days are turning, quickly into shade,
still the stars are shining in nighttime’s serenade.
Oh the bells are tolling, of life’s eternal sleep.
I wonder who will find me? I wonder who will weep?
I wonder if the sun will shine, when I no longer see?
I wonder if the world will know, there was ever me?
Now I close my eyes to pain as calmly I await,
my passing to eternity, the minute and the date.
Will the angels take my soul? Oh God, I hope and pray,
that my misdeeds will not lead me, direct the other way.
