Atlanta is on my mind today
And I can see atlanta inside of my mind
Atlanta is on my mind today
With that beautiful blue sky full of birds that are flying
All the way home
But I wonder if they will fly all the way to the gulf
Because of the oil spill on the gulf
And if they do they will die
And we are never going to see them again
Atlanta is on my mind
And I can see that Atlanta sky
Inside of my mind with that beautiful sunset
