Please pardon this useless prattle
I'm still naive and the world is blank

The mind not a squalid ensemble
My eyes still closed

A heart unbroken;
Dreams the same

Staring toward unknown horizons
No one travels along side me

Hoping for happiness
Rewarded with melancholy

This new life slowly tainted
No place for someone to hold roots to

Fading away with the noise
Fearing the individual I've become.
