Your passion disturbs
My calm waters
And stirs my heart
Into oblivion I flee
For there is no
Safe haven in sight
I cannot suffer
Through your verse
My love cannot breathe
Under your weight
And words do come
To me from you
In an unclear vision
I can only practice
The tuning of my sight
For these eyes
Are more than simple
But less than trained

There was no warning
Only swift blows
