The months surpass the years of your life
The second year is almost complete
I remember day one,26th September '09
t'was the day I became yours, you became mine
Though with all certainty our love's in the stars
My heart was given to thee as Venus and Mars
Opened their eyes to the first morning light

It hasn't always been easy, but always worth it
Distance and time sometimes are not on our side
But the moments together supply elixirs that keep
Our hearts, mind and body fixed on our love
I anxiously await the day that we do marry
When we shall no more part from each other
When I can sleep and wake with my lover.

Yes, I anxiously wait with joy of it being soon
only if I could take control of sun and moon
I'd make it today since yesterday is gone
and tomorrow would be too long. I anxiously wait
My lover, my wife, my best friend and life
You are my sunshine, my joy and my love
I'll love you as long as I live - amen.
