Far from this world, in the night sky
In bedtime stories and nursery Rhythms
What holds you there?
What makes you shine?

Do you not look down and wonder
What if you feel like many others?
With lightning and thunder

Just one of many but still stay behind
Some give a brighter light
Some are bigger, do you still not mind?

When there seems to be no reason
Why do you still twinkle?
Through the change of every season

You shine of hope for the lonely
You shine the way for the lost
You join with others to break the darkness
You shine for all the costs
