She lets forth a longing sigh
and a myriad of unrequited words
recalling her self imposed oath
to keep silent after
she slashed and spurned it all to the ground
until all was unhappily buried
or wandering ghostlike in sealed cryptography
But that vow must be broken for her to be freed
so she navigates glossed souls in a black mass demonstration
casting out endearing and damning inscriptions
for cold friends and flames who's memories cannot be
strangled out in her mind like a cord on blue throats
She has agreed to stitch everything back together
let the pen bleed it's testimony
of unresolved burdens and smeared ink
and make no excuses for the trauma
left in her wake
