A truly excellent album, with almost no reputation among dealer circles. Not that it's unliked, but very few have heard it due to it's rarity. The recent CD reissue should help in that respect. Primarily country/rural flavored rock, with some psych and blues mat'l, as well as a few folk/rock moves. They were a Michigan outfit, and this album, released on their own Deacon Productions label, was the first of three.

Acid Archives says: “This is an extremely accomplished private press album. They play acoustic and electric blues-rock, psych/funk jams, snappy acoustic folk, honky-tonk, and moody near space-rock, all with great success. The guitar playing is excellent, the vocals world-weary and evocative, and the arrangements clever (listen to the way the organ swoops in and out of “Old Man Gibbs,” for instance).”
