After releasing a couple of independently funded EP’s in 2008 and 2009 to critical acclaim, and in 2010, recorded a track for a Tribute album to Ronnie James Dio called "Magic", they return in 2014 with the full-length album titled “Vicious Dominion” via No Remorse Records. Drawing on influences from some of the old school bands like HELLOWEEN and IRON MAIDEN, and sounding like a mixture of SAVATAGE and QUEENSRYCHE, they fit perfectly into the current progressive power metal genre. By incorporating the maturity that comes with struggling through the “school of hard knocks” along with the taste of success from their EP’s, CROSSWIND emerges stronger than ever. This release is perfect timing as bands like KAMELOT, EDGUY, and ICED EARTH are broadening the genre and making it a more manageable, relevant path to follow.
