The Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement is a renewed effort to eliminate all forms of malnutrition, based on the principle that everyone has a right to food and good nutrition. The Movement is unique by bringing different groups of people together – governments, civil society, the United Nations, donors, businesses and scientists – in a collective action to improve nutrition.
Two events were planned in this context in Rome. First one was the SUN global gathering 16-18 Nov followed by Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) 19-21 Nov.
In this context, host Omar Khalid Butt interviewed Mme Lola Castro, WFP Representative & Country Director, Patrick Evans, FAO Representative, Miriam de Figueroa, Deputy Rep, UNICEF, and Ghulam Nabi Kazi, WHO to talk about malnutrition in the world and in Pakistan.
The interview was aired on Saturday the 15th of November on PTV World. The channel can be live streamed on http://world.ptv.com.pk/LiveStreaming.asp...
