Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has declared a State of Emergency and has put the National Guard on alert in the city of Ferguson ahead of a Grand Jury verdict on whether to indict Officer Darren Wilson, the policeman who shot and killed unarmed African-American teenage Michael Brown in August.
