It would appear that peace talks between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) are are soon to resume in Havana. The talks were temporarily stopped when the FARC detained a Colombian Army general. Government officials and negotiators arrived in Havana, Cuba Monday where they sustained conversations with FARC representatives about how to restart the peace talks. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos continues to reject a bilateral ceasefire called for by the FARC. teleSUR
