Canon T80 Auto Focus SLR Camera body FD mount
This is Canon's first autofocus 35mm SLR camera.
Compared with earlier Canon AL-1 with electronic rangefinder, T80 AF uses a linear CCD array for TTL image contrast detection.
For metering and exposure control, T80 provides TTL multi-program AE and preset aperture AE with centerweighted averaging metering.
T80 AF lenses were called AC lenses; these are FD mount with signal transmission capability (NOT the EOS system). Each AC lens includes a setting to select shooting preference such as: one-shot AF, servo, or manual focus.
