This is NOT a sneak attack...

Ruuxa, the cheetah cub, and Raina, her puppy companion have been friends all their young lives.

... back to when the San Diego Safari Park introduced the pair, after Ruuxa's mom abandoned her.

The puppy communicates through body language that there is nothing to fear -- helping calm the active cheetah.

Now that's a friendship we can all admire.

The name game has ended for this orphaned sea otter in Chicago. The votes have been cast, and the winning name is Luna!

It's derived from California's "Half Moon Bay" -- an area close to where the pup was rescued.

She's come a long way... now an active swimmer, who has learned to groom after a bath.
