Sounds of joy as two professors emerge after setting a record spending 73 days in an underwater classroom.

Roane State Community College professors Bruce Cantrell and Jessica Fain held a "Classroom Under the Sea" beneath a Florida Keys Lagoon.

It was no life of luxury with media reports saying the bedrooms were two 10-foot by 8-foot cylinders, with windows looking out onto the marine world.

The lab is only 600 square feet, with almost half of that a wet room where divers enter and exit.
